Terms and Conditions

Thank you for visiting www.kuka-me.com. The following terms and conditions govern the use of the site and the purchase of goods and services from the site. Please read them carefully before continuing to use the rest of the site. You must be at least 18 years of age to use the site, unless you are doing so under the guidance of a parent or guardian. In these terms and conditions "you" refers to the person using the website and "we" or "us" refers to kuka-me ltd . We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions, so please check them occasionally. If we make substantial changes we will notify existing customers by email.
1. PLACING AN ORDER
When you place an order, you are placing an offer of payment in return for goods. A binding contract of sale, or purchase agreement is only formed once an order is accepted online, and you receive a 'confirmation of order' email. Please keep this for your records. Orders are accepted at our sole discretion. Orders are usually accepted if credit card authorization has been confirmed, the order reflects current pricing and the products ordered are in stock. Your account will only be charged once the order has been dispatched, although for gold pieces we may hold the amount on your card at the time of order. If, in exceptional circumstances, we are unable to fulfill an order we have accepted, we will notify you by email and cancel the agreement.

2. CANCELLING AN ORDER
If you would like to cancel an order before it has been dispatched, please contact us as soon as possible, quoting the cardholder's name, the billing address and the order reference number, shown on your "confirmation of order" email. Please contact us by emailing info@kuka-me.com. If your order has already been dispatched, please follow the instructions for returns, shown below.

3. PRICING
The prices on our website are displayed in British pounds sterling although prices in US dollars or Euros may be viewed by selecting them on the currency conversion button on the left-hand side of the screen. For orders placed in the United Kingdom (UK) or the European Union (EU), Value Added Tax (VAT), currently charged at 17.5% will be added at checkout; appropriate taxes will be added for all other locations. Please refer to the "Shipping and Returns" page for postage and packaging prices.
Prices are set in British pounds sterling and the prices in US dollars and Euros are pegged to the pound.
We endeavour to set fair and competitive prices, which may be altered at the start of a new season to accommodate a changing market and fluctuating exchange rates. The price you will be charged will always be the price that was displayed on the website when you placed the order.

4. PAYMENT
Once we dispatch an order, we will charge your account and send you an email confirming dispatch and receipt of payment. Please keep this email for your records. You will own the goods, once we have received correct payment. Payment is accepted from all major debit and credit cards via PayPal or Google checkout mechanisms, as specified on the payment page of the checkout process. Payment is accepted in British pounds sterling, US dollars, or Euros.

Please retain this email for your records.
We would like to assure you that we will always endeavour to deliver parcels on time. However, delivery times are for general guidance only. Circumstances beyond our reasonable control may result in a late delivery and we will not be held liable in such an event.

A refund of the price of returned goods will be made to the purchaser upon request, once we receive the returned item/s. If you would like to make an exchange and the purchase price of an item you select for exchange differs from the original purchase price of the returned item/s, the purchaser's account will be credited or charged to make up the difference.

Please follow the instructions enclosed in your parcel if you wish to make a return. Making a return does not affect your statutory rights.

9. DAMAGED ITEMS
If you receive an item in error, or faulty goods, please accept our sincere apologies, and follow the instructions contained in your parcel to make a free return. Upon receiving the faulty item we will dispatch a replacement item. If a replacement is unavailable you may request a different product of similar value or a refund. We reserve the right to determine whether an item is faulty, and therefore whether a return can be accepted for refund or exchange after 14 days from the delivery date. Making a return does not affect your statutory rights.

10. WARRANTY
Kuka-me products are of the highest quality and covered by a two-year warranty from the date of receipt. If the delivered goods prove defective within this period you may return the item and we will have it repaired or replaced, except in cases when damage has resulted from improper treatment. If the jewellery care advice, specified below, is followed, your kuka-me pieces should remain in excellent condition for many years.

11. JEWELLERY CARE
In order to keep your kuka-me jewellery pieces in beautiful condition, we recommend that you store them in the soft cloth pouches provided, when they are not being worn. Please keep them dry and remove them when washing, swimming or cleaning with chemical agents. These measures will help to protect them from light, dust, moisture, hard surfaces and chemical abrasion, and will prevent jewellery from becoming scratched, tarnished, discoloured or accumulating bacteria. If a piece does become slightly tarnished over time, you can clean it by gently rubbing it with an old toothbrush, a little water and a drop of washing up liquid, and then drying it thoroughly before use.
